Lisa Lee 원장은 미국과 캐나다에서 약 10년간 유학하며 다양한 문화와 언어 환경 속에서 폭넓은 시각을 쌓았습니다. 귀국 후 영어영문학을 전공하고 석사 과정을 통해 효과적인 언어 교육을 깊이 있게 연구했습니다.
다양한 경험을 바탕으로 실제 상황 중심의 즐겁고 실용적인 학습 환경을 제공합니다.
또한 자연스럽게 몰입하고 자신감을 키울 수 있도록 안내합니다.
무엇보다 학생 개개인의 개성과 흥미를 존중하며, 영어를 일상 속에서 자연스럽고 풍요롭게 경험하도록 이끌어 갑니다.
Director Lisa Lee spent nearly ten years studying in the United States and Canada, where she grew within rich cultural and linguistic environments that shaped her global perspective.
After returning to Korea, she majored in English Language and Literature and later pursued a master’s degree, deeply exploring effective language teaching.
Building on her diverse experiences, Lisa creates engaging and practical learning environments grounded in real-world situations.
She also helps students naturally immerse themselves in learning and nurtures their confidence.
Above all, she values each student’s unique personality and interests, guiding them to experience English not just as a subject, but as a natural and enriching part of everyday life.

비앤지 영어학원의 수업 철학
비앤지 영어학원은 ‘영어를 공부하는 것’과 ‘영어로 말할 수 있는 것’ 사이의 간극을 가장 중요하게 생각합니다. 많은 학생들이 오랜 시간 단어를 외우고 문법을 배우지만, 막상 실제 상황에서 자기 생각을 영어로 표현하려고 하면 말이 쉽게 나오지 않습니다.
비앤지는 이러한 현실적인 문제를 해결하기 위해, 책으로만 공부하고 암기하는 방식에서 벗어나 학생이 직접 말로 표현할 수 있는 영어를 목표로 수업을 설계했습니다.
단순히 정답을 맞히는 영어가 아니라, 자신의 의견을 문장으로 만들고 자연스럽게 전달하는 의사소통 중심의 영어를 지향합니다.
영어는 시험 점수를 위한 과목이 아니라, 결국 사람과 사람 사이에서 생각을 나누고 관계를 만들어가는 의사소통의 도구라고 믿기 때문입니다.
B&G English Academy’s Teaching Philosophy
At B&G English Academy, we place the greatest importance on closing the gap between studying English and actually being able to speak it. Many students spend years memorizing vocabulary and learning grammar rules, yet struggle to express their own thoughts in real-life situations.
B&G was created to solve this very problem. We move away from textbook-centered, memorization-based learning and design our classes with one clear goal in mind: helping students speak English with confidence.
Rather than focusing on finding the “correct answer,” we emphasize authentic communication that allows students to form their own ideas into complete sentences and communicate them naturally. We believe English is not simply a subject for exams, but a tool for sharing ideas, building connections, and communicating effectively in the real world.
비앤지 수업 방식
(Analytical Reading & Descriptive Writing Class)
비앤지의 수업은 체계적인 지문 분석과 논리적인 서술형(Writing) 수업을 중심으로 진행됩니다. 정해진 답을 기계적으로 외우거나 교재를 수동적으로 따라가는 수업보다는, 학생이 스스로 지문의 구조를 파악하고 논리적으로 서술하는 과정 자체를 반복적으로 훈련하도록 돕습니다.
수업에서는 핵심 질문(Questioning)을 통해 지문의 주제를 분석하고, 학생이 정답의 타당한 근거를 정리한 뒤, 그것을 완벽한 영어 문장으로 구성해 서술형 글로 완성하는 흐름으로 진행됩니다. 처음에는 짧은 단문으로 시작하더라도, 즉각적인 구문 교정과 반복 연습을 통해 점점 더 구조적이고 정확한 심화 영작으로 확장해 나가게 됩니다.
이런 과정 속에서 학생들은 “감으로 푸는 영어”가 아니라 “정확한 근거로 증명하는 영어”를 체득하게 되고, 단순 암기에서 벗어나 스스로 조건에 맞는 문장을 만들어 내는 힘을 기르게 됩니다. 무엇보다 비앤지 수업의 핵심은 영작 과정에서 문법적 실수가 있더라도 논리적 전개를 지속할 수 있도록 지도하고, 복잡한 구문에서 막히는 순간에도 포기하지 않고 끝까지 완벽한 서술형 문장을 완성하도록 이끌어주는 데에 있습니다.
Our Teaching Method
(Analytical Reading & Advanced Writing Classes)
Classes at B&G English Academy are centered around systematic reading comprehension and advanced descriptive writing. Instead of mechanically memorizing answers or passively following textbooks, students are encouraged to actively analyze texts and logically structure their thoughts throughout each class.
Lessons begin with analytical questions that explore the main topics, guiding students to organize their supporting evidence before expressing them in well-structured English sentences. Even when students start with simple sentences, consistent grammatical feedback and repeated writing practice help them gradually develop more complex, accurate, and academic paragraphs.
Through this process, students move beyond superficial reading to truly mastering academic English. A key focus of our classes is creating an academic environment where students are guided to overcome grammatical challenges and logically complete their descriptive writing, even when they encounter complex sentence structures.
