Lisa Lee 원장은 미국과 캐나다에서 약 10년간 유학하며 다양한 문화와 언어 환경 속에서 폭넓은 시각을 쌓았습니다. 귀국 후 영어영문학을 전공하고 석사 과정을 통해 효과적인 언어 교육을 깊이 있게 연구했습니다.
다양한 경험을 바탕으로 실제 상황 중심의 즐겁고 실용적인 학습 환경을 제공합니다.
또한 미술·음악 등 예술적 요소를 접목한 다감각적 수업을 통해 학생들이 자연스럽게 몰입하고 자신감을 키울 수 있도록 안내합니다.
무엇보다 학생 개개인의 개성과 흥미를 존중하며, 영어를 일상 속에서 자연스럽고 풍요롭게 경험하도록 이끌어 갑니다.
Director Lisa Lee spent nearly ten years studying in the United States and Canada, where she grew within rich cultural and linguistic environments that shaped her global perspective.
After returning to Korea, she majored in English Language and Literature and later pursued a master’s degree, deeply exploring effective language teaching.
Building on her diverse experiences, Lisa creates engaging and practical learning environments grounded in real-world situations.
She integrates art, music, and other creative disciplines into her lessons, offering a multi-sensory approach that boosts immersion, inspires curiosity, and nurtures students’ confidence.
Above all, she values each student’s unique personality and interests, guiding them to experience English not just as a subject, but as a natural and enriching part of everyday life.

비앤지 영어학원은 ‘영어를 공부하는 것’과 ‘영어로 말할 수 있는 것’ 사이의 간극을 가장 중요하게 생각합니다. 많은 학생들이 오랜 시간 단어를 외우고 문법을 배우지만, 막상 실제 상황에서 자기 생각을 영어로 표현하려고 하면 말이 쉽게 나오지 않습니다.
비앤지는 이러한 현실적인 문제를 해결하기 위해, 책으로만 공부하고 암기하는 방식에서 벗어나 학생이 직접 말로 표현할 수 있는 영어를 목표로 수업을 설계했습니다. 단순히 정답을 맞히는 영어가 아니라, 자신의 의견을 문장으로 만들고 자연스럽게 전달하는 실용적인 영어를 지향합니다.

At B&G English Academy, we place the greatest importance on closing the gap between studying English and actually being able to speak it. Many students spend years memorizing vocabulary and learning grammar rules, yet struggle to express their own thoughts in real-life situations.
B&G was created to solve this very problem. We move away from textbook-centered, memorization-based learning and design our classes with one clear goal in mind: helping students speak English with confidence.
Rather than focusing on finding the “correct answer,” we emphasize practical English that allows students to form their own ideas into complete sentences and communicate them naturally. We believe English is not simply a subject for exams, but a tool for sharing ideas, building connections, and communicating effectively in the real world.
비앤지 수업 방식 (Discussion-based Speaking Class)
비앤지의 수업은 실용적인 토론 방식의 스피킹 수업을 중심으로 진행됩니다. 정해진 문장을 외우거나 교재를 그대로 따라가는 수업보다는, 학생이 스스로 생각하고 말하는 과정 자체를 반복적으로 경험하도록 돕습니다.
수업에서는 질문을 통해 주제를 열고, 학생이 자신의 관점과 이유를 정리한 뒤, 그것을 영어 문장으로 구성해 말로 표현하는 흐름으로 진행됩니다. 처음에는 짧은 문장으로 시작하더라도, 피드백과 반복 연습을 통해 점점 더 자연스럽고 정확한 표현으로 확장해 나가게 됩니다.
이런 과정 속에서 학생들은 “알고 있는 영어”가 아니라 “쓸 수 있는 영어”를 체득하게 되고, 단순 암기에서 벗어나 스스로 문장을 만들어 말하는 힘을 기르게 됩니다. 무엇보다 비앤지 수업의 핵심은 학생이 실수하더라도 말하는 경험을 지속할 수 있도록 환경을 만들고, 말이 막히는 순간에도 포기하지 않고 끝까지 문장을 완성하도록 이끌어주는 데에 있습니다.
Our Teaching Method
(Discussion-based Speaking Classes)
Classes at B&G English Academy are centered around practical, discussion-based speaking lessons. Instead of memorizing fixed expressions or mechanically following textbooks, students are encouraged to actively think and speak throughout each class.
Lessons begin with thought-provoking questions that open discussion, guiding students to organize their opinions and supporting reasons before expressing them in English. Even when students start with short or simple sentences, consistent feedback and repeated practice help them gradually develop more natural, accurate, and confident speech.
Through this process, students move beyond “knowing English” to truly using it. A key focus of our classes is creating a supportive environment where students are not afraid to make mistakes, and where they are guided to complete their thoughts in English even when they hesitate or feel stuck.
